A New Space

It’s been just over a month since we started to utilise our beautiful new space here at Lily Belle HQ. It took no time at all to settle into the gorgeous new look and feel of our workspace…we really love it here!

We’re always looking for new ideas to improve things and to make it a more creative and collaborative environment. We hope that feeling just that little at home, being surrounded by things you love and people you care for can really help to stoke the creative and supportive ethos we view so highly here.

One of things we value and embrace is constant evolution – and the environment we work is no exception! We’re very lucky with the beautiful old building we had to begin with, but we are buzzed by the possibilities we’ve yet to realise. Here’s a little sneak peak of Phase One…

We hope you love it too!

Stand Up To Cancer

Stand up for cancer

Cancer Research UK approached us back in September in relation to this years Stand Up to Cancer Campaign. This is a live show, to be televised on Channel 4 on 17th October and supports all of those who have been touched by this terrible disease.

The live show will be a dazzling night of entertainment, hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen, filled with live performances from the biggest names in music, film and television. The event is supported by a host of celebrity guests, which have in the past included A-list names such as Bradley Cooper, Samuel L Jackson, David Beckham, and Jennifer Aniston.

Cancer is the world’s biggest killer. It accounts for 1 in 4 deaths in the UK. That’s one diagnosis every 2 minutes. We at Lily Belle are proud to be supporting such an amazing cause, meaning that all the trials which Cancer Research UK support will move from bench to bedside within three years.

In support of the campaign Lily Belle have donated a box of their  Neon Orange Stretch Bead Bracelets, each personalised with the words SU2C 2014.  This is in keeping with the orange theme present throughout the campaign. These will be used to gift the female celebrity supporters on the night as well as the brave ladies who appear on Cancer Research UK’s Moments videos.  The bracelets will be gifted to supporters such as Sharon Osborne, Davina McCall and Una Young.  We are absolutely thrilled and very proud to have been asked to be involved in this way and to be able to support such a worthy cause.

Here at Lily Belle, our team have shown their participation for the event by painting their nails orange and donating via the text link:

To show your support, please text

  • THREE or MARCH to 70704 to make a £3 donation;
  • FIVE to 70404 to make a £5 donation; or

We would like to wish everyone on the SU2C team all the very best of luck for the evening. I know we will all be watching and supporting. We hope you will be too…

Here today… scone tomorrow

SconesTuesday afternoon saw the Lily Belle team celebrating Emma’s birthday with a wonderful cream tea.

 afternoon tea

Rachel served her delicious homemade scones, which led us to debate, which should be added to the scone first? The jam or the cream?  We were rather surprised by the feedback given by our followers when we posed the question on our Facebook page, resulting with a magnanimous decision that the cream should come first.
